The Washington Post observes that the wait at Bubbledogs in Charlotte Street can be up to two hours on weekends, so customers indulge in a pre-dinner street party outside. Apparently the fashionable media-types from the local Fitzrovia neighborhood bring along cans of gin and tonic to sip while they brave the elements. Artist Ian Brice wrote to tell us about an exhibition of his in Stepney. “I am having a show of my column paintings in a church in Stepney.” Brice was once a litho printer in the basement of 28 Charlotte Street, the home of Adrian & Corinne Heath.
