A Glaswegian art graduate turned his fascination with 1980s personal computers into an artistic career in illustrating and animation creation. Walter Newton’s solo show at The Coningsby Gallery which runs until the end of the week displays his original and commissioned creations.

Newton, born in 1981 in Glasgow, attended the Glasgow School of Art and then London’s Royal College of Art. He now lives and works in the Midlands, illustrating and animating.

The pixel-based illustrations and animations from 2012 to the present includes original creations, and commercial work for GQ, Maxim, Men’s Health, The Atlantic, Harvard Business Review, The Guardian and Edge Magazine.
