From this month Camden Council will no longer send out notices by letter to people living near to a site where a planning application has been submitted.

From 1 October 2016 Camden Council stopped sending neighbour notification letters about planning applications, but says it has improved site notices and its electronic system.
The council says it has new and improved site notices, email alerts, and press adverts in the Camden New Journal and the Ham & High newspapers. It also provides an online map showing all applications received in the last seven days.
Those living or working near development sites will be expected to actively look out for potential planing applications which could affect them.
The changes are part of Camden’s Revised Statement of Community Involvement 2016.
