All Souls’ Church of England Primary School in Foley Street are holding their Summer Fair on Saturday 16 July between 12.00 noon and 3.00pm to raise much needed funds to pay for vital school equipment.
The fair will be held in the school playground which can be entered at the rear of the school on Riding House Street.
Mandy Chang of the school’s parent and teacher association told Fitzrovia News: “There’ll be lots of fun for families and members of the public on the day with stalls, games, delicious food from around the world as well as cakes and a BBQ. There’ll also be a raffle with some impressive prizes that include a computer, meals out at local restaurants and other goodies provided by generous and community-minded local businesses.”
All proceeds from the summer fair will go towards paying for new school equipment and activities. The school hope to raise enough money to buy an electronic white board, a PA system for the school, and take children and parents on school trips. Entry to the fair is £1 for adults.
All Souls’ School has around 200 children from age three in the nursery up to the age of eleven. The school is housed in a three floor listed building built in 1908 and school lunches are cooked on site. It is the only school in Fitzrovia and is situated at the heart of the neighbourhood. Children from both Camden and Westminster sides of Fitzrovia attend the school as well as children of parents working in Fitzrovia.
