All Souls Clubhouse on Cleveland Street licensed a new vicar on Sunday 5 January. Luke Ijaz who was previously at Holy Trinity church, Redhill in Surrey, was licensed into the community church in a ceremony officiated by Bishop of London Richard Chartres. 

Rev Luke Ijaz was welcomed by friends of the Clubhouse, and watched by his wife Smaragda and his two daughters Zoe and Lydia. In attendance were the Rector of All Souls Langham Place Hugh Palmer and Area Dean Fr Alan Moses.

Rev Ijaz will undertake the roles of Chaplain of All Souls Clubhouse Community Centre, Pastor of The All Souls Clubhouse Church, assistant curate to All Souls Langham Place, and a governor of All Souls primary school.

Former Clubhouse vicar Rev Mark Prentice Mark has moved on to St John the Baptist Church in Ipswich. He was at All Souls Clubhouse for nine years.
