The Embassy of Venezuela in Grafton Way is hosting a film festival which will feature a free showing on almost every Tuesday of 2014. Dubbed The Boliwood Film Festival (after Simon Bolivar) it is organised by the embassy to promote Venezuelan cinema to a wider audience.
The festival will be launched this coming Tuesday 21 January with a screening of Reverón, which looks at the love story between Venezuela’s most famous artist, Armando Reverón, and his muse and inseparable companion, Juanita Ríos. The screening will be followed by a reception hosted by the Embassy.
