Bangladeshi artist Tayeba Begum Lipi is currently exhibiting at one of Fitzrovia’s newest galleries. Running until 31 March 2014, “Never Been Intimate” is on show at Pi Artworks, Eastcastle Street. 

Tayeba Begum Lipi, who was born in Gaibandha, Bangladesh, takes everyday objects such as safety pins and razor blades and transforms them into unlikely products. She has previously exhibited at Pi Artworks Istanbul, and at the recent Dhaka Art Summit.

Pi Artworks was founded by Yesim Turanli in 1998 and has a gallery at the Misir Apartmani in Istanbul. In October 2013 Pi Artworks London opened.
