Voting will take place in Fitzrovia on Thursday 22 May for Local Government and for the European Parliament elections. Polling stations open at 7am and close at 10pm. 

Fitzrovia is split into parts of three council wards — Marylebone High Street and West End in City of Westminster, and Bloomsbury in the London Borough of Camden.

Elections take place in Camden to elect councillors for all 18 Wards and in the City of Westminster to elect councillors for all 20 wards for the next four years. Residents can vote for up to three candidates in each ward and the three candidates with the most votes will be elected.

The Bloomsbury Association are holding a hustings on Tuesday 13 May where voters can meet Camden’s Bloomsbury ward candidates and give them a grilling.

The hustings will be held at 6.30pm Tuesday 13 May at St Georges Church, Bloomsbury Way, London WC1A 2SR. (Bloomsbury Ward Hustings Flyer).

Elections will also take place London-wide for Members of the European Parliament for the London Region for the next five years. These elections are run using a form of proportional representation. Voters have one vote only to cast for a political party and not an individual candidate on the list. Each political party submits a list of candidates in priority order.
