A tenants campaign group is holding a political hustings to find out what the candidates for the Holborn & St Pancras parliamentary seat have to say about housing in the constituency ahead of the general election on 7 May 2015.

Camden Federation of Private Tenants (CFPT) has confirmed that Keir Starmer (Labour), Jill Fraser (Liberal Democrats), Natalie Bennett (Green), and Will Blair (Conservative) will be attending to debate the issue of housing at the Marchmont Community Centre in Bloomsbury this month.
CFPT want all the candidates to answer two questions:Â What will your party do to improve the private rented sector for tenants? And what will your party do to make housing associations more accountable to their tenants?
Robert Taylor of CFPT says “It will also be a real opportunity for both private and housing association tenants to ask some hard question of all those seeking to become the political representative for this part of Camden.”
Frank Dobson has held the seat for The Labour Party since May 1979 and will retire as an MP at this general election. At the 2010 election he had a 10,000 majority and is the longest serving Labour MP in London.
