A gallery in Tottenham Street is currently hosting an interactive exhibition of contemporary film posters and photographs, and features a model cinema made of Lego bricks. There is also a film quiz, a poster design class, and a chance to win cinema tickets.

State of the Art Cinema is on show at the Conningsby Gallery until Friday 7 August.

State of the Art Cinema is presented by the Film Distributors’ Association which is celebrating its centenary this year and this free exhibition displays promotional posters and photographs from films to be released in UK cinemas over the coming months.

Visitors at the exhibition are encouraged to download the Blippar app to a smartphone to see extra film content while browsing the displays.

State of the Art Cinema is at The Coningsby Gallery, 30 Tottenham Street, Fitzrovia, London W1T 4RJ until Friday 7 August 2015. On Tuesday 28 July there will be a drop-in film quiz at the gallery between 2pm and 5pm. On Tuesday 4 August there will be a free movie poster design master class from 6pm to 7pm (Call in at the gallery for full details).
