Fitzrovia Community Centre in Foley Street is putting on a number of low-cost and free activities for children over the summer 2024 holidays, and will be holding the annual Fitzrovia Fete.
A holiday activities and food (HAF) programme will run from 30 July to 23 August for Camden and Westminster children aged seven to 11 years-old in receipt of means-tested free school meals. Activities include sports, arts and crafts, games, healthy meals and quizzes.
“If you are not currently registered for means-tested FSM but you are receiving other benefits, we may be able help you to apply. It could unlock lots of additional support for you and your family,” says the Community Centre. Find out more about the summer activities on offer here.
On Sunday 18 August, the 2024 Fitzrovia Fete will take place, offering free activities to be enjoyed by all. It is run as part of Westminster Council’s Inside Out Festival with this year’s theme being: Love Our Planet.
Enjoy street performances, music and art workshops, play, dance, and have fun browsing stalls selling crafts, clothes and food.
“We always need extra hands for an event such as this, so if you are able to volunteer on the day or the week before, we would love to hear from you and have you on our volunteer team,” says the Community Centre. Find out more about Fitzrovia Fete here.
Fitzrovia Community Centre can be found at 2 Foley Street, Fitzrovia, London, W1W 6DL.
