Culinary Lab Limited has applied to Camden Council for a major variation of its premises licence at the ground floor of 67 Whitfield Street on the corner with Chitty Street in Fitzrovia.

The application is so obscurely and poorly worded that it would make little sense to the average layperson. But The Fitzrovia News understands that the applicant is seeking permission to place tables and chairs for customers to sit on at two outside areas next to the restaurant.

According to plans submitted with the application seating for 16 customers is proposed at “Terrace 1: Courtyard” at an area adjacent to Chitty Street, and seating for six customers is proposed at “Terrace 2: Pavement” along Whitfield Street.

The application also seeks to amend a number of conditions to allow for the operation of the outside areas.

To view the details of the application and make a comment, search Camden’s public licensing register for the following reference:

APP\PREMISES-VARY\122836, Officina 00, 67 Whitfield Street, London W1T 4DE.

A public consultation on the application is open until 3 September 2024.

Residents in Camden may also contact the Charlotte Street Association for help and advice in responding to planning and licensing applications.
