‘American Dream’ is theme for summer street party at The Warren

An “American Dream”-themed street party will take place at The Warren open space on Whitfield Street on Saturday afternoon.

The party and community dinner is a free annual summer event organised by Fitzrovia Youth in Action and offers live music, games, as well as food and drink.

Whitfield Street will be closed to all traffic between Grafton Way and Warren Street, and a diversion will be in place from 7.30am to 8pm on 31 August.

A temporary traffic restriction order states: “Close Whitfield Street between Warren Street and Grafton Way. Suspend ‘one way’ working on Warren Street between Whitfield Street and Tottenham Court Road. Suspend ‘No left turn except buses and cycles’ restriction on Tottenham Court Road at junction of Euston Road.”
