
Sisters Grimm Limited has applied to Westminster Council for a new premises licence for the basement and ground floor at 23-25 Eastcastle Street in Fitzrovia West.
Permission is being sought for a number of licensable activities including film screenings, performance of plays and live music from 9am to 11.30pm, Monday to Sunday; the serving of late night refreshment from 11pm to midnight, Monday to Sunday; and for the sale of alcohol to drink on the premises from 5pm to 11.30pm Monday to Sunday.
According to the application, the venue will be a cultural hub for the Sisters Grimm productions company, known as House of Sisters Grimm.
“The main purpose of the premises is as an art gallery however, the premises also houses a theatrical space for performances, as well an ancillary bar and conferencing facilities,” states the applicant.
There will be two evening performances, including pre- and post-drinks, and food, and the premises will also serve as an educational outreach centre.
A number of conditions have been offered in support of the application.
