Urban conservation charity the Seven Dials Trust is looking for a new co-ordinator to continue its work in preserving the historic fabric of the unique confluence of streets and buildings in Covent Garden.

“Over 40 years our work has helped to save and then to develop and enhance Seven Dials, reinventing a lost neighbourhood around the Sundial Pillar, which the Trust re-constructed, owns and maintains,” says the Trust.

First built in 1694 by Edward Pierce and Thomas Neale the Sundial Pillar was removed in 1773, then rebuilt in 1989 with money raised by the Trust where it now stands as a distinct focus point in the network of streets.

The Seven Dials Trust is now seeking an individual with an interest or experience of working within a small local voluntary organisation dealing with neighbourhood environmental, planning and management issues, and becoming the organisationsโ€™s sole paid staff member.
