A repair shop is on offer at the Fitzrovia community Centre in Foley Street with three Sunday sessions lined up where you can save yourself some money, learn a skill, and help save the planet.

If you have worn-out clothes or faulty small electrical items (no white goods, phones or laptops.) that need fixing, bring them along, and weโ€™ll help you get them back in action — free of charge. Forget about expensive repair bills or replacing items that still have plenty of life left in them.

No need to book, just come along to the RRRRepair events (Repair, Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose) and get them back into use, for free.

Fix it, donโ€™t ditch it: RRRepair Events, at Fitzrovia Community Centre, 2 Foley Street, London W1W 6DL. From 2pm to 5pm on Sunday 26 January 2025; Sunday 23 February; and Sunday 23 March 2025. Free but donations welcome.

Want to Help With The Repairs? If you are handy with a needle and thread or Allen key, could you give up a few hours a month to show others how to repair their own items? Also we need a volunteer who is certified and experienced in carrying out PAT testing. If this is you, email info@fitzroviacommunitycentre.org to help out.

This article was updated on 24 January 2025 after the Fitzrovia Community Centre got in touch with us asking to make a change. Originally the session was to include cycle repairs but this will no longer take place and instead small electrical item repairs will be done instead. Updated again on 16 February 2025 to add that a certified and experienced PAT tester is needed.
