Camden Council is holding a series of advice surgeries for private renters in February and March across the borough.
The first event is on Tuesday, 18 February at Camden Town Hall in Judd Street, where a wide range of council and other services will be present to provide support and advise private renters.
Information and advice will be available on:
- cost of living
- energy efficiency
- community safety
- disrepair — damp and mould etc.
- HMO licensing
- harassment/illegal evictions
- managing agents, fees, deposits
- registering with a GP
- advice on the new Rentersโ Rights legislation
The dates for advice surgeries across the London Borough of Camden are:
- 18 Februaryย — Camden Town Hall (Claudia Jones Room), Judd Street, WC1H 9JE. Wards: Bloomsbury, Holborn and Covent Garden, Kingโs Cross
- 6 Marchย — Highgate Road Chapel, Chetwynd Road, NW5 1BU. Ward: Highgate
- 12 March — Kentish Town Library,ย 262-266 Kentish Town Rd,ย NW5 2AA. Wards: Kentish Town North, Kentish Town South
- 26 March — Sidings Community Centre, 150 Brassey Road (off Maygrove Road), NW6 2BA. Wards: Fortune Green, West Hampstead
All surgeries are in the evening from 6pm to 8pm.
