Free summer holiday play schemes are now open for booking at Fitzrovia Community Centre in Foley Street for children in receipt of means-tested free school meals.
Parents and carers can apply on behalf of children aged 7-11 who live in the London Borough of Camden and City of Westminster, as part of the government’s holiday activities and food programme.
On offer are sports, arts and crafts, games, healthy meals and quizzes.
“If you are not currently registered for means-tested free school meals but you are receiving other benefits, we may be able help you to apply. It could unlock lots of additional support for you and your family,” says the Community Centre.
“Spaces are limited, so be sure to book your child’s place. Children won’t be able to turn up without a confirmed booking.
“This play scheme is run in partnership with ProTouch Sports Academy and places are filling up fast so please get booking to ensure your children are able to enjoy this amazing time with their friends.”
