The Metropolitan Police are appealing to the public for information after a hit-run-driver killed a man on Park Crescent in Marylebone.
Detectives have launched an investigation after a man in his 40s was struck by a driver at around 7.35pm on Friday, 26 September 2025.
Police officers attended the scene with the London Ambulance Service who treated a man before taking him to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
“Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit have launched an urgent investigation into the circumstances as the driver of the car did not stop at the scene,” said the Met Police this week.
Detective Sergeant Glen Mera said: โWe are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information they may have about this fatal collision.
โFrom our enquiries, we can see that the car hits the victim before driving off and hitting another vehicle. We are keen to speak with the driver.
โIf you have any information, or dash-cam footage that may be of use, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us, we really appreciate any information you may have for us.โ
The manโs next of kin are currently being supported by specialist officers, say the Met Police.
Anybody who witnessed the incident — or who has information — should call 101, quoting reference 7014/26SEP.
