Spearmint Rhino Companies (Europe) Ltd has applied to Camden Council to renew its sexual entertainment venue licence for premises in the basement at 161 Tottenham Court Road in Fitzrovia.
The application seeks to renew the licence on the same terms as the existing licence (SE-PREM\LIC\00258) and for the same hours which are: Monday to Saturday 9am to 4am the following morning, and Sunday 9am to 2am the following morning.
According to the application the venue has been closed since March 2020 due to flooding and will remain shut until autumn 2027.

A public consultation on the application is open until 25 November 2025.
Camden Council has a policy to refuse all new applications for a “sex establishment” but this policy does not apply to “the renewal or variation of an existing sex establishment licence”. The sex establishments policy and guidance on responding to applications can be found here.
