Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios (FCBStudios) have this month upped sticks and left Fitzrovia for a new home in Clerkenwell.

Their offices at 22 Tottenham Street lie empty with just a few boxes still to be taken away. Their new London address is given as 27 Gee Street, EC1.

FCB started in Bath and later expanded to London and Manchester. They had been at Tottenham Street for more than 10 years.

In 2019, FCBStudios and other firms responded to the climate emergency by founding Architects Declare with a manifesto to tackle the crisis, including prioritising retro-fitting and refurbishment over demolish and rebuild.

They have won numerous awards for architecture. Peter Clegg, a founding partner of the practice, was awarded an OBE for services to architecture.

In a newsletter to their subscribers on Monday 5 January, FCB Studios said:

“After many inspiring years in Fitzrovia, we are thrilled to be embarking on an exciting next chapter in our London life. Our new home in Clerkenwell places us at the heart of a vibrant design community, surrounded by friends and collaborators across the industry.”
