New parking fees for motorcycles in London Borough of Camden

New charges to park a motorcycle on the street in the London Borough of Camden will come in to force this month, ending free parking and bringing the council closer to neighbouring Westminster which already has fees.

“If you do not have a valid parking permit, you will need to pay to park in a solo motorcycle bay from 10 February,” says Camden. 

“There will be different charges for electric and non-electric motorcycles, with lower fees for electric models to encourage cleaner travel.”

Electric motorcycles will be charged at 66p per day, and for non-electric motorcycles it will be £1.30 per day.
