
Volunteer group the Friends of Crabtree Fields is asking more people to join their tidy-up events at the public park this spring.
Three tidy-up events are scheduled for March and April and volunteers are requested to dress ready for hard labour.
Activities include litter picking, gardening, and watering the new plants. Tea and biscuits are on offer.
Crabtree Fields is a public open space on the corner of Colville Place and Whitfield Street, Fitzrovia. Last year it re-opened after a major refurbishment.
Forthcoming spring tidy-up events: 10.30am Tuesday 24 March; 9am Saturday 18 April; and 10.30am Tuesday 28 April 2026.
Summer tidy-up events: 9am Saturday 9 May; 10.30am Tuesday 19 May; 9am Saturday 13 June; and 10.30am Tuesday 30 June.
Other events: Tea in the Park, 3pm to 6pm Friday 15 May; AGM, 6pm to 7pm Monday 1 June 2026 at Fitzrovia Community Centre, 2 Foley Street, Fitzrovia, London W1W 6DL.
