Textile artwork illustrating flames.

“Echo in the Fog” and “Tomorrow’s Sorbet” are two exhibitions opening concurrently this September at Art Forward Gallery in Whitfield Street, Fitzrovia.

Presented across two gallery spaces, the exhibitions offer distinct perspectives on contemporary textile practice.

“Echo in the Fog” explores memory, mythology, folklore and ecology, and is the debut solo exhibition of Polish, London-based artist Karolina Dworska.

“Tomorrow’s Sorbet” examines domesticity, denial and the desire to postpone difficult realities, and is a collaborative installation by London-based textile artists Heidi Pearce and Andia Coral Newton.

Art Forward is a new gallery at Whitfield Street which presents visual art that shares global stories and platforms voices that may otherwise be silenced.

Visitor information: Art Forward Gallery, 12-14 Whitfield Street, London, W1T 2RF. Date: 15 to 30 September 2026. Open Tuesday to Friday 11 am to 6 pm and by appointment on Saturday. The gallery is not wheelchair accessible.
