Mitchells and Butlers Leisure Retail Ltd has applied to Westminster Council for a variation of the premises licence for the Marquis of Granby at 2 Rathbone Street in Fitzrovia West.
Currently the public house has permission for licensable activities (25/06312/LIPDPS) including the sale of alcohol to drink both on and off the premises from 10am to 11pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 12noon until 10.30pm on Sunday.
Permission is now sought to extend the hours for alcohol sales to 11.30pm from Monday to Wednesday and to midnight from Thursday to Saturday, an earlier start time of 10am on Sunday, and to add permission for live music until those terminal hours.
A number of conditions on the licence would be changed.
To view the details of the application and to make a comment, see the application on Westminster Council’s website.
26/06731/LIPV, Marquis of Granby, 2 Rathbone Street, London W1T 1NR.
A public consultation on the application is open until 7 October 2026.
