Nebbia E Luce Ltd has applied to Westminster City Council for a new premises licence for the ground floor and basement at 51 Cleveland Street in Fitzrovia West.

Permission is sought for the sale of alcohol to drink both on and off the premises from 9am to 11pm, Monday to Sunday.

According to the application, the business is “a merchant of fine wines and distilled alcoholic beverages, supplying products primarily to trade customers”.

The applications states: “A Licence is required for promotion, demonstration and sale of products directly to non-trade customers from its business premises which is principally an office and administrative base.

These events include wine and spirit tasting for wine and spirit trade professionals, including buyers, sommeliers, distributors, members of the press, and private clients.

It will not operate as a public house, bar or general retail outlet open to the public on a walk-in basis. states the applicant.

Premises opening hours are needed 24 hours a day, seven days a week for staff access, according to the application.
