A Westminster City Council licensing sub-committee has refused permission for later hours at a restaurant on the corner of Great Titchfield Street and Langham Street in Fitzrovia West after hearing objections from local residents.
Nimet Oner had applied for a variation of the premises licence for Drunch and Kave at 71 Great Titchfield Street, to extend the terminal hour for the sale of alcohol, playing of recorded music, live music, and late night refreshment until 1.30am the following morning on Thursdays to Saturdays โ an hour later than the existing licence.
Permission was also sought to amend a number of conditions on the licence.
At a hearing on Thursday 22 October 2026 councillors, after considering written and verbal representations from all parties, granted permission to amend some of the conditions but refused permission for the extension of hours, and attached further conditions to the licence.
