Alexandros Lais has applied to Westminster Council for a new premises licence at Alex Coffee, 1 Hanson Street, in Fitzrovia West.

The application seeks permission for the sale of alcohol to drink both on and off the premises from 8.30am to 6.30pm, every day of the week.

The premises is described as a coffee bar and has seating for customers on the ground floor inside and outside on the forecourt. The downstairs of the premises is accessed via a step ladder and is restricted to staff, states the application for the licence.

A public consultation on the application is open until 18 March 2024.

This application will come before a Westminster Council licensing sub-committee on 1 May 2024.

Update, 23 August 2024. The application has been granted with a number of conditions attached.
