Gamepath (Monopoly) Limited has applied to Camden Council for a “major variation” of its premises licence to allow for later hours at Monopoly Lifesized, 213-215 Tottenham Court Road in Fitzrovia.
The current premises licence (PREM-LIC\104353) permits licensable activities, including the sale of alcohol, until 11.30pm from Monday to Thursday, midnight on Friday and Saturday, and until 10.30pm on Sunday.
Permission is now being sought to extend licensable activities which would allow the sale of alcohol until 1am the following morning from Monday to Wednesday, and until 2am from Thursday to Saturday.
According to the application, the extension of hours “relates to the basement and ground floor for pre-booked private events only” and that there will be no change to the permitted hours for the first and second floors.
Monopoly Lifesized is an immersive game experience based on the famous board game. A similar application to extend the opening hours submitted as a “minor variation” was rejected in 2021.
