
The Metropolitan Police have charged a 30-year-old man with causing death by dangerous driving after a hit-and-run collision in Park Crescent in Marylebone.
On Monday 29 September, Yassin Uddin of Enfield was arrested and “charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death whilst uninsured, failing to stop after an accident and perverting the course of justice”, said the Met Police.
He has been remanded in custody until Tuesday 28 October when he will appear at the Old Bailey.
The arrest comes after a man in his 40s was struck by a driver at around 7.35pm on Friday 26 September 2025 and later died of his injuries.
